General Business Coaching

Clarity, structure and accountability for owners and managers who are carrying the whole business on their shoulders.

Why it matters

When everything runs through you, the business can't grow

Running a manufacturing business is relentless — quoting, production, staff, cash flow, customers, all landing on you at once. Most owners are so deep in the day-to-day that they never get to the handful of things that would actually move the business forward. The business stays busy, the owner stays exhausted, and nothing really changes.

It's also lonely. You're the one making every big call, usually with no one to talk it through with who actually understands the business.

Business coaching gives you that person — a regular sounding board and someone to hold you accountable to the things you keep saying you'll get to. We help you cut through the noise, set clear priorities, make better decisions and build the structure that lets the business run without you touching every detail.

Companies that invest in coaching see a median return of 7× — through better performance, productivity, accountability and retention. The right outside perspective pays for itself.

Business Leadership & Accountability Assessment™

Rate your business across ten drivers of leadership and accountability. In two minutes you'll see whether the business depends on you, whether your team takes ownership, and whether you're leading proactively or constantly firefighting.

Leadership — You lead proactively with a clear direction, rather than reacting to whatever lands on your desk.

Accountability — Your team takes real ownership and follows through without being chased.

Team performance — Your team performs consistently without you having to step in.

Meeting rhythm — You have a regular meeting rhythm that keeps everyone aligned and on track.

Decision making — Decisions are made quickly and at the right level, not all funnelled through you.

Delegation — You've genuinely delegated responsibility, not just tasks.

KPIs — You track clear KPIs and know how the business is performing at a glance.

Culture — You have a strong culture where people are engaged and pull in the same direction.

Planning — You work to a clear plan with goals, rather than lurching from week to week.

Execution — What you plan actually gets done, consistently.

How it works

A simple, consistent rhythm

Regular sessions that turn good intentions into real progress.

1

Get clear on the goal

We start by understanding where you are, where you want to get to, and what's genuinely in the way.

2

Set the priorities

We cut the to-do list down to the few things that will actually move the needle this quarter — and make a plan.

3

Meet regularly

One-on-one sessions to work through decisions, solve problems and keep you accountable to what you committed to.

4

Build the structure

Over time we put in the habits, systems and delegation that reduce how much depends on you.

The payoff

What changes

Focus & clarity

You know what matters most and you're actually working on it, not just reacting all day.

Less dependence on you

Structure and delegation that let you step back without the wheels falling off.

Real accountability

The things you keep meaning to do actually get done, because someone's checking in.

Common questions

Business coaching FAQs

How often would we meet?

Typically fortnightly or monthly, depending on what you need and where the business is at. We'll agree a rhythm that keeps momentum without adding to your load.

Do you understand manufacturing specifically?

Yes — that's the whole point of MGH. You're not explaining the basics of your industry to a generalist coach; we understand the pressures of running a manufacturing operation.

Is this the same as growth consulting?

They overlap but differ in focus. Coaching is about you as the owner — clarity, decisions, accountability and leadership. Growth consulting is a deeper dive into the commercial mechanics of the business. Many clients combine the two.

What does it cost?

PLACEHOLDER — confirm your coaching packages/pricing and we'll add them here.
